  1. First stop, The Cowan Canoe & Kayak Livery (361 Victoria St N, Paisley, ON).  Cowan offers daily and weekly canoe and kayak rentals so you’ll be able to explore the Saugeen River to it’s fullest!  What’s more!?  You’ll be able to canoe to one of their many check points along the Saugeen River, call them up, and they’ll pick you up and return you to your car!  Sounds like a boat load of fun!
  2. While you’re in Paisley be sure to stop into the Treasure Chest Museum. (407 Queen St S, Paisley, ON)
  3. Now that you’ve worked up an appetite, let’s head to 43 Yonge St N, Tara, ON for some lunch at Country Cousins! These guys have earned some great reviews on Google!
  4. If you’re looking for accommodations, or if you’re looking for some family fun, consider the Chesley Lake Camp! (78 Camp Rd, Allenford, ON) An ideal mix of good food, family activities and Golf.  There is something for the whole family at Chesley Lake Camp.
  5. On your way to Chesley, don’t forget to pull over to snap a picture with Big Bruce! Standing 15 feet tall, Big Bruce was built in 1976 as a symbol of Ontario’s Finest Beef.  While Big Bruce used to travel around to fairs, shows and parades, to capture a picture with him today, you’ll have to visit him at his permanent residence just outside of Chesley, Ontario.
  6. While in Chesley, you’ll want to stop off for a hike through Krug Memorial Park.  Krug is a beautiful park with nice walking trails!
  7. Now that the kids are settled in with Grandma, it’s time to head out for some nightlife.  How about a trip to Hanover, to test your luck at the Gateway Casinos?  (275 5th St, Hanover, ON), you can enjoy 196 of your favourite slots and games.
